The search process is one of the most feared, misunderstood, and mishandled activities, even by otherwise intelligent, accomplished people.”

In addition to providing recruiting services, Trinity draws upon its experiences to offer additional information and counsel to its clients and candidates. This information ranges from interviewing tips to trends in the industry to questions about Trinity.
As a retained recruiter, Trinity works for companies, not candidates, and focuses on senior executive searches. However, this section contains information and advice to assist individuals in their job search and career planning efforts.
What is a retained search firm?
A retained firm work on an exclusive basis, project-by-project, typically on senior level ($100,000+ compensation) executive searches. The firm is paid via progress payments, much like a consultant.
What is the difference between a retained search firm and a contingency firm?
A contingency firm is paid only when a recruit is hired. Clients who use contingency firms often contract several firms simultaneously for one position, causing competition and confusion. Also, a contingency recruiter focuses on identifying and presenting resumes, rather than a more involved assessment and referencing process. Because they are paid only upon hire and at a lower percentage, it is difficult to provide a full range of services on a cost-effective basis. Contingency recruiters often seek resumes of polished, competent individuals to keep on file for the next opportunity.
Who does Trinity work for – the client or the candidate?

Does Trinity find employment for individuals?

How do you build your database?
Trinity maintains a detailed database of quality prospects and sources, primarily generated by individuals referred to us for a specific assignment. We also accept resumes from individuals in areas we expect to be working, as long as they understand we are not a placement firm.
